El mundo de la electricidad envuelve un universo de conceptos que a veces resulta complicado de entender. De esta manera, para alguien que desconoce qu\u00e9 es un megavatio o cu\u00e1nto es un megavatio, todos estos datos le pueden suponer un inconveniente a la hora de entender la factura de la luz.<\/p>\n<p>Por este motivo, hemos preparado un post en el que te detallamos todo lo referente sobre\u00a0<strong>qu\u00e9 es un megavatio<\/strong>\u00a0y qu\u00e9 unidades de medida se corresponde el consumo energ\u00e9tico en tu hogar o en tu negocio. Pero antes de conocer los detalles del megavatio, vamos a recordar la definici\u00f3n de kilovatio:\u00a0<strong>es una unidad de potencia de uso corriente, equivalente a 1000 vatios. La abreviatura de vatio es W y la de kilovatio, kW<\/strong>. El vatio es una unidad de potencia el\u00e9ctrica producida por una diferencia potencial de 1 voltio y una corriente el\u00e9ctrica de un amperio, es decir, un voltiamperio. Frecuentemente se habla de kilovatio hora (kWh) como unidad pr\u00e1ctica de energ\u00eda equivalente a la energ\u00eda producida por una potencia de mil vatios durante una hora.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1ntos kilovatios es un megavatio?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para poder entender mejor la factura de la luz debemos empezar a explicar en qu\u00e9 consiste el Megavatio, es una unidad de potencia equivalente a un mill\u00f3n de vatios o a mil kilovatios. Su abreviatura es MW.<\/p>\n<p>En resumen, los vatios (W) son una medida utilizada tanto para la potencia de un aparato el\u00e9ctrico, como la energ\u00eda que \u00e9ste desarrolla en el caso de las energ\u00edas renovables. Como te hemos indicado la medida de kilovatio (kW) equivale a mil vatios. Si es m\u00e1s grande todav\u00eda, la medida es\u00a0<strong>megavatio<\/strong>\u00a0(MW), que equivale a un mill\u00f3n de vatios o mil kilovatios producida por una central el\u00e9ctrica que funciona continuamente durante una hora. Esta medida se utiliza para medir grandes potencias, como por ejemplo los buques de guerra, equipamientos cient\u00edficos o grandes motores el\u00e9ctricos. En palabras que se entiendan, un megavatio\/hora supone una cantidad de energ\u00eda que puede dar electricidad a una media de 330 viviendas en una hora.<\/p>\n<p>Para saber cu\u00e1nto se consume en un hogar de media tan solo hacen falta tres datos, saber cu\u00e1ntos aparatos el\u00e9ctricos est\u00e1n conectados a la red, qu\u00e9 tipo de tarifa y potencia se tiene contratada y por \u00faltimo el tiempo de funcionamiento de dichos aparatos el\u00e9ctricos. Para saber la cantidad de kW que se consume, existe una formula muy sencilla de calcular:<strong>\u00a0\u201cPotencia el\u00e9ctrica X tiempo de utilizaci\u00f3n = Energ\u00eda consumida\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0con este peque\u00f1o dato, puedes calcular cu\u00e1nto consumes y ver si se puede lograr ahorrar en el consumo, o adaptar mejor la tarifa que se tenga contratada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es el precio del megavatio en la factura de la luz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Como ya sabes, el precio del megavatio depende directamente del precio del kWh hoy, que se refiere al coste de la\u00a0<strong>potencia contratada<\/strong>, que se pide precisamente en kilovatios (kW). \u00c9sta determina la cantidad de aparatos que puedes conectar simult\u00e1neamente, es decir, pone un\u00a0<strong>l\u00edmite de potencia<\/strong>\u00a0que no podr\u00e1s sobrepasar y as\u00ed evitar que salten los plomos, as\u00ed que tendr\u00e1s que tener en cuenta cuanto consumes para saber la potencia que deber\u00e1s contratar para tu hogar o negocio.<\/p>\n<p>El rango del\u00a0<strong>precio kWh hoy<\/strong>, y por tanto del megavatio, se basa en el sistema el\u00e9ctrico impuesto por el Ministerio de Industria a trav\u00e9s del \u2018pool energ\u00e9tico\u2019, donde se compra y vende energ\u00eda. Las empresas que se encargan de los servicios p\u00fablicos de energ\u00eda venden \u00e9sta en unidades de Kilovatios hora, pero las fuerzas del mercado, es decir, las grandes compa\u00f1\u00edas, determinan el precio al por mayor, pero el Estado es quien regula los precios al por menor. As\u00ed que para saber cu\u00e1l es el precio del megavatio hora deber\u00e1s tener muchos factores en cuenta.<\/p>\n<p>En este modelo, se recomienda no tener mucha potencia contratada si no es necesaria en el d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Cuanta m\u00e1s baja sea la potencia, m\u00e1s bajo ser\u00e1 el<strong>\u00a0precio kW luz<\/strong>. Por esta raz\u00f3n es muy conveniente que sigas nuestros consejos en el blog para ahorrar lo m\u00e1ximo posible, seg\u00fan tus circunstancias (no es el mismo gasto el de una persona que vive solo y el de una familia con dos hijos, por ejemplo), y sobre c\u00f3mo debes utilizar los electrodom\u00e9sticos, ya que hay algunos que consumen m\u00e1s que otros y existen formas de hacer m\u00e1s eficiente y econ\u00f3mico tu consumo y conocer cu\u00e1les son las franjas horarias m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micas y aprovecharse de ello en el consumo.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, hay dos formas de observar los tipos de precios, un precio el\u00e9ctrico por horas donde en un contador digital podr\u00e1s observar cada hora del d\u00eda cuanto coste tiene, y cuanto se ha consumido y un precio medio ponderado de luz que funciona de tal manera que se hace una media del importe y s\u00f3lo vale para aquellos que tienen un contador anal\u00f3gico, y estos deber\u00e1n hacer el cambio antes del 2019 a un contador digital.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00bfTodav\u00eda sigues sin tener claro qu\u00e9 es un megavatio o un kilovatio?
