A los consumidores de luz particular les suena m\u00e1s la activa, es decir, aquella que se mide en kWh. En cambio, la reactiva se asocia al gasto de electricidad con electrodom\u00e9sticos como: lavadoras, neveras, secadores del pelo, etc\u2026 Con esta peque\u00f1a introducci\u00f3n vamos a comenzar a analizar este tipo de energ\u00eda, que para su funcionamiento<strong>\u00a0es necesario una bobina alimentada con una corriente alterna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la energ\u00eda reactiva en la factura de la luz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Primero, debemos tener en cuenta que la<strong>\u00a0energ\u00eda reactiva<\/strong>, a diferencia de la activa, cuenta con las siguientes caracter\u00edsticas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No se consume ni se calienta<\/li>\n<li>Se mide en kVArh (kilo voltio-amperio reactivo hora)<\/li>\n<li>Funciona con aparatos que precisen de una bobina alimentada a una corriente alterna como por ejemplo:\n<ul>\n<li>Maquinaria industrial.<\/li>\n<li>Ascensores.<\/li>\n<li>Electrodom\u00e9sticos del hogar: lavadoras, frigor\u00edfico.<\/li>\n<li>Transformadores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>La energ\u00eda reactiva<\/strong>, como hemos dicho, es alterna: va y viene de nuestro consumo a la red 50 veces por segundo, provocando variaciones en la intensidad el\u00e9ctrica. Todo ello lleva a que esta energ\u00eda no se produzca, sino que se transporte. Tambi\u00e9n debemos tener en cuenta otro tipo de energ\u00eda, la aparente, basada en el conjunto de la activa y la energ\u00eda reactiva.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la energ\u00eda activa en la factura de la luz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La energ\u00eda activa es aquella que se genera cuando los receptores el\u00e9ctricos transforman la energ\u00eda en trabajo mec\u00e1nico y calor. Este efecto tiene un reflejo inmediato y se mide en kWh, es decir, kilovatios hora. Aquellos receptores formados por resistencias puras, por ejemplo los aparatos de calefacci\u00f3n, consumen en exclusiva energ\u00eda activa.<\/p>\n<p>Los electrodom\u00e9sticos tambi\u00e9n consumen energ\u00eda de tipo activo, por eso el grueso de nuestro consumo suele basarse en sistemas el\u00e9ctricos que necesitan de la energ\u00eda activa como fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la energ\u00eda aparente?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La energ\u00eda aparente es el total de energ\u00eda que utiliza un circuito el\u00e9ctrico, es decir, la suma de la energ\u00eda activa y reactiva. Esta energ\u00eda se mide en KVA. Cuando hablamos de qu\u00e9 es la potencia reactiva y activa, debemos tener en cuenta que ambas se combinan para calcular el uso total de potencia el\u00e9ctrica. El resultado de la suma es por tanto la energ\u00eda aparente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la diferencia entre estos dos tipos de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La energ\u00eda reactiva no se genera y no calienta, sin embargo es imprescindible para muchos dispositivos. Por el contrario, la energ\u00eda activa pone en funcionamiento electrodom\u00e9sticos, genera calor, etc., esta es la principal diferencia entre energ\u00eda activa y reactiva.<\/p>\n<p>Corriente reactiva y activa son indispensables en nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda, por eso la energ\u00eda reactiva tiene un impacto real en la factura.<\/p>\n<p>Un exceso de energ\u00eda reactiva puede provocar todo tipo de problemas en un circuito el\u00e9ctrico, que van desde la p\u00e9rdida de potencia en las instalaciones hasta sobrecalentamiento en los circuitos. Para evitar este tipo de problemas, sin sacrificar la cantidad de energ\u00eda reactiva, se utilizan condensadores capaces de compensar la sobre-generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda reactiva.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el factor de potencia?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El factor de potencia relaciona el consumo de energ\u00eda activa y el consumo de energ\u00eda aparente de una instalaci\u00f3n. Con un consumo activo dado, a mayor sea el consumo de energ\u00eda reactiva menor ser\u00e1 el factor potencia, y por tanto mayor ser\u00e1 la penalizaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la energ\u00eda reactiva se refleja en la factura de la luz?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La energ\u00eda reactiva no se crea, sin embargo es preciso transportarla. Al realizar el transporte de energ\u00eda reactiva, es necesario contar con redes de abastecimiento mayores, as\u00ed como transformadores m\u00e1s potentes, lo que provoca un impacto en la factura final del consumidor debido a los gastos asociados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se mide la potencia activa?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La potencia activa se mide en kilovatios, y por lo tanto se puede cuantificar en kilovatios consumidos durante una hora (kWh).
